A Time for Giving

As Christmas approaches, it is a time to reflect on the past year. Not just in terms of how the business has performed, but also on how we have been able support others in the community. The term corporate responsibility is often used for how businesses give back or volunteer to help people or organisations. As a relatively new business, this is the first year we have been in position to help others in the community.

These are some of things we have done in 2021 to support others:

• Sponsorship through advertising of Silsden AFC. A great community football club which has teams playing at senior level playing in the NCEL Premier Division, through to junior footballers playing other local teams.
• Donation to Nell Bank Outdoor Education Centre, which provides exciting, safe and memorable outdoor experiences for children. We sponsored some places for disadvantaged children, who otherwise would not have had the opportunity to experience this fantastic facility and the great outdoors of Wharfedale.
• Who can forget the Ilkley Tennis Club Bonfire & Fireworks Display. As one of the main sponsors of this extremely well attended event, and following another difficult year, it was great to see so many people from the local community coming together and enjoying the evening.
