Covid-19 Second Lockdown Update
Yesterday the Government voted in favour of a second lockdown across England, from the 5th of November – 2nd of December.
Under the new legislation The Health Protection (Coronavirus Restrictions) (England) (No4) Regulations 2020 governing lockdown states that Letting Agents, Estate Agents and removal firms can continue to work.
The new regulations specifically state that activities in the housing sector can continue, these include: appraisals, viewings, move-ins and check-outs, as well as any essential maintenance needed at a property.
We will however suspend any routine inspections of properties during the lockdown period.
We can confirm that the Whitaker Cadre office will remain open during the lockdown and will be conducting business as usual. We will continue to follow government guidelines in relation to social distancing and the use of PPE whenever it is necessary to visit a property or attend appointments. The safety and wellbeing of our staff, clients, customers and contractors remains our priority. Should anyone need to visit the office, we ask that you do this by making a prior appointment and wear a mask and use the hand sanitiser provided when you arrive.
